Ku2a | 1 | 2 | 3 | Next Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Ad-Hoc Committee Decides To Cancel Reservation Slots Of Thursday Kakad Aarti & Sunday Afternoon Aarti For Offering Clothes To Sai Baba - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Press Release Dated 30th December 2022 Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Ad-Hoc Committee has taken a wonderful decision to cancel the reservaton Slots which was prevalent for Thursday Kakad Aarti & Sunday Afternoon Aarti for offering clothes to Shri Sai Baba and has made all the slots available for the daily three Aartis of Shri Sai Baba by way of Lottery System. Sansthan Acting Chief Executive Officer Shri.Rahul Jadhav has appealed to all Sai devotees to take advantage of this facility. Shri.Jadhav said that devotees would like to offer Clothes on the occasion of Shri Sai Baba's Aarti. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan had decided in the year 2016 to allow devotees to offer Clothes for all 3 Aarti's on daily basis and the devotees were following the same. Also, in the Management Committee Meeting held on 23rd May 2017, it was decided to reserve Thursday Kakad Aarti and Sunday Afternoon Aarti Slots exclusively for Sansthan Committee Members. But, with a view to make all the three Aarti Slots available for devotees to offer Clothes to Shri Sai Baba, Sansthan Ad-Hoc Committee Chairman and Principal District Judge Shri.Sudhakar Yarlagadda and Commitee Member and District Magistrate Dr.Rajendra Bhosale took this historic decision of removing the reservation of Slots. Accordingly, in the Ad-Hoc Committee meeting held on 5th December 2022, it was decided to remove the reservation of slots on Thursday and Sunday and allow the devotees to offer clothes to Shri Sai Baba by way of Lottery System. Because of this wonderful decision, devotees will now get the benefit of offering Clothes for all the three Aarti's of Shri Sai Baba on all days. Every month around 1000 Clothes are being deposited at the Donation Counters by the devotees. Out of these, 90 Clothes are selected and listed according to the slot for three Aarti's. The list will be published in Shri Sai Baba Sansthan's official website and the respective devotees are informed through Mobile message about which Aarti the Clothes they deposited will be offered to Shri Sai Baba. As part of this Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has organized various Culturual and Religious programmes on Saturday, 31st December 2022. Shri.Rahul Jadhav informed that every year during Christmas Vacation, year end and New year holidays huge crowd is flocking to Shirdi to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi. Keeping in view of potential crowd of Sai devotees, 10,000 square foot of Pandal has been erected in the Temple surroundings. Apart from this in order to provide additional accommodation facility near Sai Dharmashala, Bhakta Niwas Sthan (500 Rooms) 28,000 square foot of pendal has been erected. Around 350 quintals of sugar has been used and Laddu prasad packets have been prepared for Sai devotees. In order to make Laddu Prasad easily available to Sai devotees during the festival period, Laddu Prasad Sales Counters have been started near Shri Sainath Mangal Karyalaya, Open theatre near Dwarakamai, Sai Complex near Hanuman Mandir, Gate No.5, Shri Sai Prasadalaya, Sevadham Building, Shirdi Airport and all residential complexes managed by Sansthan. Sansthan has also planned to set up additional Laddu Prasad Sales Counters if required. Also, in order to see that Tea, Coffee and Milk are easily made available to Sai devotees in darshan queue and Temple surrounding areas, additional Tea and Coffee counters have been started at Sai Complex, Sai Ashram, Dharmashala, Bhaktaniwas (500 rooms), Dwaravati Bhaktaniwas, Sai Udyan, Complex, Shantiniwas building, Ground floor and First Floor of Darshan Queue Complex. During this period, for the convenience of Sai devotees, first aid counters will be in place at Darshan Queue Complex, Mandir Surroundings, Sai Ashram, New Prasadalaya, and other places. Ambulances will be stationed at Temple Premises, New Bhaktiniwas and New Sai Prasadalaya for emergency services. For the safety of Sai devotees, 1 Police Inspector, 6 Assistant Police Inspectors, 75 Police Personnel, 1 Rapid Action Force, 1 Bomb Detection Squad will be deployed. Also, due to Christmas Vacation and New Year Holidays, there will be no Vehicle Pooja for 9 days i.e., from Saturday, 24h December 2022, to Sunday, 1st January 2023. However, Sai devotees should make note that Sai Satyavrat Pooja and Abhishek Pooja will continue as usual during this period. Also, as a safety measure, fireworks and playing of musical instruments have been forbidden inside temple and surrounding areas. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Gets Rs.175 Crore Tax Exemption From Income Tax Department - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Press Release Dated 25th November 2022 While assessing the tax for the year 2015-16, the Income Tax Department assumed that Shri Saibaba Sansthan was not a religious trust but a charitable trust and levied 30% income tax on the donations received in Dakshina Hundi and issued a tax payment notice for Rs.183 crore. The income tax department had not levied income tax on the donation received in Dakshina Hundi for the last two years. However, in accordance with the said decision, it was also decided to levy income tax on the donation received in Dakshina Hundi for the last two years as well and accordingly gave notice for levy of income tax to Sansthan. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan filed Writ Petition in Honorable High Court and Honorable Supreme Court. The Honorable High Court and the Honorable Supreme Court had ordered a stay on tax payable till the tax is determined as mentioned in the Income Tax Appeal. An appeal was was filed by Sansthan and the Income Tax Department finally granted exemption from the tax levied on the donation received in Dakshina Hundi acknowledging Shri Sai Baba Sansthan as a religious and charitable trust. With this order from the Honorable Courts, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has been exempted from income tax to the tune of Rs.175 crore levied in the last three years. As Before, Gurusthan Temple To Be Kept Open For Pradakshina During Shri Sai Baba Aarti - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Press Release Dated 15th November 2022 Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Smt.Bhagyashree Banayat informed media persons that like earlier days, starting from Afternoon Aarti of 14th November 2022, the Gurusthan Temple has been kept open for Pradakshina during Shri Sai Baba's Aarti for the devotees who come to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi. Smt.Banayat said, in the past, many Sai devotees who came to have Shri Saibaba's darshan were circumambulating the Gurusthan Temple while Shri Sai Baba's Aarti was going on. However, two years ago, i.e. in the year 2020, Corona virus spread throughout the World and in the Country. Due to this Corona virus crisis, Government of India and State Government had declared lockdown. Instructions were issued that religious places and social gatherings should not be crowded. In the backdrop of this decision from the Government, from 17th March 2020, Sansthan Management had taken a decision to close Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir for darshan by the devotees. Then in the year 2021 due to the decrease in the number of Corona cases, and due to the relaxation f Corona rules by the State government, the Samadhi Mandir of Shri Sai Baba was opened for darshan from 07th October 2021. Also, the facilities which were closed as a preventive measure during Corona period, are being opened in a phased manner on behalf of Sansthan. Smt.Bhagyashree Banayat said that accordingly starting from Afternoon Aarti of 14th November 2022, the Gurusthan Temple has been kept open for Pradakshina during Shri Sai Baba's Aarti for the devotees who come to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi. She appealed that more and more devotees should take advantage of this facility. The discussion was held in a cordial atmosphere between the villagers and Honorable Chief Executive Officer. The demands that were worth implementing without causing disturbance to the security and administration of Temple were immediately agreed to be implemented. Also, assurance was given on the occasion to all the villagers that rest of the demands will be considered for implementation in a phase manner. As per the demand from the villagers, it was decided to remove the glass cover put near Samadhi according to the crowd and enable devotees to touch the Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba. Also, it was discussed during the meeting that during rush hours, putting low height glass in front of Samadhi, allowing devotees inside the Dwarakamai and clearing the way for the Shirdi villagers to come and go through the gate. There was also discussion about allowing Pradakshina at Gurusthan Temple during Aarti of Shri Sai Baba by removing the extra barricades and to make holy Shri Sai Satcharitra which is not available now in some languages to make it available as soon as possible. Smt.Banayat said that since 1977 Sansthan employees are getting Ex-Gratia every year during the festival of lights - Deepavali. Accordingly, the Management Committee in its meeting on 20th July 2022 had approved for releasing 8.33% of Ex-Gratia on the Annual Salary of previous year to all the employees. However, prior to disbursing Ex-Gratia to employees, it was decided to take approval from Law and Justice Department, Government of Maharashtra. Accordingly, a proposal was submitted to Law and Justice Department, Government of Maharashtra for sanctioning 8.33% of Ex-Gratia based on the Annual Salary for all the permanent as well as contract employees for the period from October 2021 to September 2022. Smt.Bhagyashree said that millions of devotees from India and abroad visit the holy temple town of Shirdi to have Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi darshan. After coming to this place, in addition to Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi darshan, the devotees visit places like Dwarakamai, Chavadi, Gurusthan and other places as well. At the same time, Shri Sai Baba spent His entire lifetime at the Dwarakamai Masjid. It was from Dwarakamai that Shri Sai Baba gave His teachings, Sermons, Served Patients and Poor people. Also, Baba showed numerous Leela's to His devotees from this very place. Therefore, Dwarakamai is of paramount importance to Sai devotees. As mentioned in holy Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sai devotees were insisting on starting of Shri Sai Satyavrat Pooja and Abhishek Pooja. For this, Sansthan has set up Shri Sai Satyavrat Hall in the backside of Shani Mandir. Also, Shri Sai Baba Abhishek Poja has been arranged in front of Samadhi Mandir. Sai devotees who come to Shirdi to pay obeisance to Shri Sai Baba are eager to get acquainted themselves with the wonderful Leels and Teachings of Shri Sai Baba. For this, Sansthan has started an Independent Parayan Hall in the backside of Datta Mandir inside Lendi Baugh to enable Sai devotees to do Parayan of holy Shri Sai Satcharitra in private. However, two years ago, due to the outbreak of Corona Virus in the World and in the Country, Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir was closed from 17th March 2020. In the last two years, the State Government has imposed Lockdown twice due to the outbreak of Corona Virus. Later, when the Samadhi Mandir was opened for darshan by Sai Devotees, a single queue was formed and devotees were allowed to have darshan of Samadhi Mandir, Dwarakamai, Gurusthan, village deities Ganapati, Shanidev, Mahadev and Shri Datta Mandir and Nanda Deep at Lendi Baugh. However, at this time, Shri Sai Satyavrat Pooja, Abhishek Pooja and Parayan Hall were not opened for Sai Devotees. As per Government Instructions, in the backdrop of Corona, the CCC, DCHC and DCH hospitals were under the auspices of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan. Since 18th March 2020, around 10,000 patients with Corona symptoms and asymptomatic patients have been treated free of cost. Considering the lack of Oxygen for Corona patients, through the donation from donor Sai devotees, Sansthan has set up an Oxygen generator plant with a capacity to generate 1200 Litres Per Minute (LPM) and RT-PCR Lab with a testing capacity of 1300 tests per day with about 1,25,000 free tests have been conducted so far. Also, through Sansthan Hospitals, an important task of vaccinating about 35,000 people with first and second dose has been completed so far and is still going on. In addition, in the backdrop of possible outbreak of Corona Virus, as per Government Order Vaccination Drive for children in the age group of 15 to 18 years has been started from 3rd January 2022. Also, as per Government Order, Vaccination has geen started for Chidren in the age group of 12 to 14 years and it will be available from morning 10.00 am to evening 5.00 pm at Kanya Vidya Mandir. Shri Sai Baba Rath Yathra To Restart From Rangapanchami Festival - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Press Release dated 22nd March 2022 Due to the restraining orders from Ahmednagar District Collector in view of the Law and Order situation, Shri Sai Baba's Palkhi taken out on Thursday and Rath Yathra taken out on Rangapanchami Day were stopped. However, considering the faith of Sai devotees and due to repeated demands from them and also with a view to continue the tradition of Sansthan, Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Smt.Bhagyashree Banayat had immediately contacted the District Collector and the Superintendent of Police by telephone and demanded to start the Rath Yathra procession. After receiving due permission from them, Shri Sai Baba's Rath yathra procession will be taken out around Shirdi village on 22nd March 2022 at 05.00 pm on the occasion of Rangpanchami festival. A restraining orders under section 37(1) of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951 had been passed in the backdrop of Corona from 17th March 2022 to 22nd March 2022 by Ahmednagar District Collector. As per this order, displaying the figures or images of any person as well as making public announcement, singing, playing musical instruments playing the instruments, using instruments that amplifies voice such as usage of Loudspeakers or usage of listening devices, usage of record players are strictly prohibited. Accordingly, Shirdi Police Station had issued a letter to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) ordering for stopping of Thursday Palkhi Procession as well as Rath Yathra procession on the occasion of Rangapanchami festival. Considering the restraining orders from Ahmednagar District Collector and letter from Shirdi Police Station, it was necessary to obey the restraining order in view of the law and order situation and hence, Palkhi Procession as well as Rath Yathra were stopped from 17th March 2022 to 22nd March 2022 until further orders. Also, immediate decision had to be taken to cancel Thursday's Palkhi procession from 17th March 2022. However, considering the faith of Sai devotees and due to repeated demands from them and also with a view to continue the tradition of Sansthan, Sansthan Chief Executive Officer Smt.Bhagyashree Banayat had immediately contacted the District Collector and the Superintendent of Police via email as well as telephone and requested to start the Rath Yathra procession from 22nd March 2022 on the occasion of Rangapamchami festival. Ahmednagar District Collector had given his oral approval for the same. Also, the Chief Executive Officer had a telecon with Superintendent of Police, Ahmedngar on the issue and discussed in detail. Accordingly, like earlier days, Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti will be held at 5:15 am and night Shej Aarti will be held at 10:00 pm and that Sai devotees will be allowed to attend both Kakad Aarti as well as Shej Aarti along with other Aarti's. It may be noted here that due to curfew restrictions by the Government from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am devotees were not allowed to attend both Kakad Aarti as well as Shej Aarti. Smt.Banayat said that last year the State Government has imposed lockdown twice due to Corona virus pandemic in the World and in the Country. Later, when the temple of Shri Sai Baba was opened to the devotees for darshan, the State Government had laid down some guidelines from health point of view in order to control the spread of Corona virus. Also, in the backdrop of possible waves of Corona virus, traffic curbs as well as Curfew orders were issued from time to time. As per Government Order dated 8th January 2022, since night curfew was imposed from 11:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Sansthan Chairman Advocate Shri.Ashutosh Kale and other trustees had decided not to allow devotees for Kakad Aarti at 4:30 am and Shej Aarti at 10:30 pm. However, with the change in Kakad Aarti and Shej Aarti timings like earlier days to 5:15 am and 10:00 pm respectively,Sai devotees can be allowed to attend both Kakad Aarti as well as Shej Aarti. Also, Sai devotees and Shirdi villagers were repeatedly demanding that they be allowed to attend Kakad Aarti as well as Shej Aarti. Accordingly, considering the demand of devotees for admission to Kakad Aarti and Shej Aarti, from 1st March, 2022, Sai devotees will be allowed to attend Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti as well as Shej Aarti on behalf of Sansthan. However, in the backdrop of Corona pandemic and as per the prevailing rules of the State Government, the devotees will be allowed to enter Samadhi Mandir by strictly following social distance norms. Hence, only a limited number of devotees will be able to take advantage of these rituals. As per the previous rules, passes for all the four Aarti's can be booked from the official website of Sansthan online.sai.org.in . Smt. Banayat also said that offline passes will not be available and that all Sai devotees and Shirdi villagers should make note of this. Accordingly, like earlier days, Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti will be held at 5:15 am and night Shej Aarti will be held at 10:00 pm. Smt.Banayat said that various Pooja's are being peformed at particular timings at Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir. These include Kakad Aarti, Afternoon Aarti, Dhoop Aarti and Shej Aarti and these Aarti's are attended by a large number of devotees and local villagers. Also, these Aarti's are of paramount importance to devotees and hence these Aarti's continues uninterruptedly in Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir even to this day. From Gudi Padwa festival in 2008 onwards, it was decided by the then Management Committee to change the time of Kakad Aarti to 4:30 am and Shej Aarti to 10:30 pm respectively. Accordingly, there were changes in daily programme schedule due to the change in Shri Sai Baba's Aarti timings. But Sai devotees and Shirdi villagers were repeatedly demanding that timings of Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti and Shej Aarti should be changed as before. Accordingly, in the management committee meeting held on 24th January 2022 under the Chairmanship of Shri.Ashutosh Kale, Chief Executive Officer Smt.Banayat and the Board of Trustees, it was unanimously decided to revert back to old Aarti timings for Kakad Aarti and Shej Aarti respectively. Due to the change in the timing of Kakad Aarti and Shej Arati, the schedule of daily programmes at Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir is slighly changed in between. As per new schedule, the Samadhi Mandir opens at 4:45 am. The Bhoopali record will be played at 5:00 am. Shri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti will be held at 5:15 am. Shri Sai Baba's Mangal Snan (holy bath) will be held at 5:50 am and immediately after the Mangal Snan Chota Aarti Shirdi Majhe Pandharpur will be held. Darshan will commence at 6:25 am. Smt.Banayat said that a Museum has been set up at Dixit Wada inside the temple complex to provide information to Sai devotees about various articles used by Shri Sai Baba. In this Museum, various articles like Padukas, Kafni, Chillum, Pillows, Mattress, Chariot, Palanquin and many other articles used by Shri Sai Baba are on display. Likewise, in order to enable devotees who come for Shri Sai Baba's darshan to meditate, Sadhana and do Naama Smaran, Sansthan has constructed a new Dhyana Mandir (Meditation Hall) on the first floor of the Sri Sai Satyavrat Hall. Around 250 to 300 devotees visit this Dhyana Mandir every day to perform meditation. But last year, due to the outbreak of Corona virus in the World and in the Country, the Samadhi Mandir of Shri Sai Baba was closed from 17th March 2020. In the last two years, the State Government has imposed lockdown twice due to Corona virus pandemic. Later, when the Samadhi Mandir of Shri Sai Baba was thrown open for darshan to devotees, they were allowed to have darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi, Dwarakamai, Gurusthan, Village Dieties Ganapati, Shanidev, Mahadev, Shri Dattatreya and Nanda Deep situated at Lendi Baugh in a single line. However, at that time, Shri Sai Baba Museum and Dhyana Mandir (Meditation Hall) were not opened for devotees. But, there was repeated demand from Sai devotees and Shirdi villagers to open Shri Sai Baba Museum and Dhyana Mandir (Meditation Hall).
As per the demand of Sai devotees and Shirdi villagers, with effect from 15th February 2022, Shri Sai Baba Museum and Dhyana Mandir (Meditation Hall) have been kept open for Sai devotees from morning 6:00 am to night 9:00 pm. After Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi darshan, devotees will be allowed to both the places as per the prevailing Corona guidelines. Devotees must observe strict social distance, use hand Sanitizers and face Mask as per Covid guidelines. Also, afer entering Dhyana Mandir (Meditation Hall) devotees can meditate for about 10 to 15 minutes only. At the same time, all devotees and villagers should take note that devotees will not be allowed to read or do Sai Satcharitra Parayan in this Dhyana Mandir. However, Sai devotees should strictly follow all Covid-19 guidelines and take darshan of Shri Sai Baba Museum and Dhyana Mandir. They immediately brought the matter to the notice of the Assistant and Supervisor. After that, the supervisor contacted the devotee who had taken the room and when asked about it, he informed that he had not forgotten any o luggage or cash. Later, the amount was handed over to Security Department. It was mentioned that the amount of Rs.24,500 was handedover to Accounts Department on 19th January 2021. After the first review meeting on Corona, Shri.Game proposed to increase the capacity of RT-PCR testing up to 5,000 persons per day, to set up a genome sequencing lab, to set up two liquid medical oxygen plants on rental basis, Setting up of 300 oxygen beds for patients at Sai Ashram Phase 2, Dura Cylinders, two liquid oxygent plants and ventilator as well as medical equipments and necessary infrastructure and provide various other facilities by way of donation from philanthropic donors. It was also suggested that both Shri Sai Baba and Shri Sainath Hospitals should be functioning as non Covid hospitals and that Covid Hospital should be started at Sai Ashram Phase 2 (Sai Dharmashala) in order to handle possible third possible wave of Corona. Accordingly, construction work of Covid Hospital for the third possible wave at Sai Ashram Phase 2 (Sai Dharmashala) is underway. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Starts Corona Vaccination For Children In The Age Group 15-18 At Sai Dharmashala - Courtesy: Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Press Release dated 4th January 2022 Chief Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Smt.Bhagyashree Banayt informed media persons through a Press Release dated 4th January 2022 that as per the orders of State Government, Hospital run under the auspices of Sansthan has started Vaccination drive for Children in the age group of 15 to 18 at Sai Dharmashala. Smt.Banayat said that on behalf of Sansthan, in the ground floor of Sai Dharmashala Bhaktaniwas in 8 halls with 10 to 12 beds in each hall a total of 100 bed separation centre and Covid care hospital have been set up. Also, CCC, DCHC and DCH were run as per the instructions of the Government in the backdrop of Corona under the supervision of the hospital. On bhealf of the hospital, since 18th March 2020, about 10,000 patients with corona symptoms and asymptomatic patients have been treated free of cost. Considering the lack of Oxygen for Coronary Artery Disease, with the generous donation of Rs.2,33,74,000 by Sai devotees, an Oxygen Generation Plant with Oxygen generation capacity of 1200 LPM (Liter Per Minute) and RT-PCR lab with capacity of conducting about 1300 tests in 3 shifts per day has been set up by Sansthan with about 85,000 free trials have been conducted in this regard. Also, through the hospital, an important work has been done to vaccinate 23,000 people in and around Shirdi with first and second dose of covid vaccine till date.
